BioDynamik Leadership Completes Training in Transverse Tibial Bone Transport Under Renowned Dr. Qikai Hua
Lake Forest, CA – November 11, 2024 – BioDynamik Inc. is proud to announce that Johnny Chen (CEO) and Shanbao Cheng (CTO) recently traveled to the People’s Republic of China (PRC) to study under the world-renowned expert Dr. Qikai Hua, Professor and Chief Physician at The First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University.
Dr. Hua is a renowned expert in transverse tibial bone transport (TTT) for severe diabetic foot treatment, achieving an exceptional 96.1% limb salvage success rate in over 1,000 patients as of 2020. He has pioneered innovative advancements in the field, including publishing the first Chinese and global English articles on TTT, establishing it as a viable alternative for diabetic foot patients with no other treatment options. With 21 published research works and over 220 citations, Dr. Hua is globally recognized for his expertise in osteomyelitis, bone defects, nonunion, joint deformities, and extensive tophi.
The BioDynamik leadership team participated in a rigorous one-week workshop led by Dr. Hua, where they gained in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in TTT. The program included:
- Attending specialized lectures on TTT techniques and principles.
- Observing Dr. Hua in the operating room, learning firsthand his advanced surgical techniques.
- Engaging with patients in the clinic, gaining valuable insights into pre- and post-surgical care.
- Interacting with patients directly, understanding their treatment journeys and outcomes.
- At the completion of the program, Johnny Chen and Shanbao Cheng were awarded official Certificates of Completion for Dr. Hua’s course, “Transverse Tibial Transport (TTT) for the Treatment of Severe Diabetic Foot.”
