The XT3 System is used for Transverse Bone Transport of the Tibia in Skeletally Mature Adults
The XT3 system provides stable bridging fixation across a fracture, or bone defect during transverse bone transport of the tibia. The XT3 System is used in conjunction with 3mm and 5mm half pins.
The XT3 System functions similarly to other unilateral external fixation systems, where the frame is affixed and secured onto previously positioned external fixation pins within the bone.
Adjustment of the XT3 System aligns with other unilateral external fixation systems, using leadscrew rotation to move a component and transport a bone segment.
